Task 2 Draft Design Guidelines and Architectural Permit Findings 2.1 Outline Potential Design Guideline Concepts and Illustrations and Permit Findings Based on the feedback received on options to address residential design issues, LWC will work with City staff and prepare an outline identifying key concepts to be addressed by design guidelines and potential illustrations to represent those concepts. The outline will also include topics to be addressed by Architectural Permit Findings to assist decision makers in review of project applications. 2.2 Review Draft Design Guidelines and Findings LWC will review draft Design Guidelines and Findings prepared by City staff based on the outline prepared in Task 2.1. Review exercises will include beta testing the design guidelines against real projects. 2.3 Illustrations LWC will provide production -ready illustrations to demonstrate design guideline concepts in the draft Design Guidelines. 2.4 Summary Memo LWC will prepare a brief (two-page) memo describing how the draft Design Guidelines and findings respond to community input. Task2Meetinps Teleconferences and meetings to review draft guidelines Task3 Review and Adoption Task2Products Guideline Concept and Permit Findings Outline Review Draft Design Guidelines and Findings Design Guideline Illustrations Summary Memo 3.1 Architectural Advisory Committee/PC Meeting LWC will prepare for and attend a joint meeting with the Architectural Advisory Committee and Planning Commission to present and get feedback on the draft Design Guidelines and Findings. 3.2 Community Workshop LWC will prepare for and conduct a community workshop to present and get feedback on the draft Design Guidelines and Findings. 3.3 Public Hearings LWC will prepare for and attend up to two public hearings for the adoption of the Design Guidelines and Findings. In preparation for the public hearings, LWC will review all comments received on the draft Design Guidelines and Findings with staff and prepare revisions, as appropriate. 3.4 Final Design Guidelines and Findings Based on City Council action, LWC will assist staff in preparing the final Design Guidelines and Findings.
