To be reviewed and discussed at the Pre - <br />Construction Meeting. <br />5. Deck Access: <br />Two (2) ladders each side of the flat bed body at the headboard. Grip strut steps, <br />Tread depth 4 inches (min.) Steps shall be spaced evenly and not to <br />exceed 18 inches step to step, provide one grab handle each side. <br />F. Deck Tie Downs: <br />Furnish 5000 Ib capacitytie down rings, 2' from headboard and 2' from rear, the remainder <br />will be evenly spaced no more than 48" down the side rail. <br />7. Tool Boxes: <br />Under body boxes, frame mounted, each side 48" x 18" x18". Bottom hinged 180 degree <br />Double walled door. Compartments keyed the same. Includes LED rope lights. <br />8. Chock holders: <br />Located under the body to house standard compliant wheel chocks per the size of the truck. <br />Holders will have chain restraints. <br />9. Rope (J) Hooks: <br />Furnish'/ inch diameter rope "J" hooks 1 per cross member located under deck each <br />side. <br />10. Mud flaps: Anti sail, CVC compliant. <br />11. Lighting: Completed vehicle shall comply with FMVSS108 & CVC regulations. L.E.D. <br />Stop/tall/turn lights and back-up lights shall be flush mounted, "Trucklite" or equal. <br />Side marker lights may be Trucklite No.1 integral reflector/light. <br />All wiring both internal and external to be loomed and fully protected. <br />All lights will be LED. DO NQT USE GLUE obj CLIPS, <br />12. License Holder: License holder and license plate light shall be mounted on rear of bed so that the <br />plate will not get bent. <br />13. Welding & Workmanship: <br />Shall be state of the art workmanship. Welding shall comply with applicable AWS Standards <br />D1.1. Body and equipment are to be thoroughly cleaned of scale, splatter, oil, dirt, etc., and <br />treated with an acceptable metal preparation process before any primer and finish coats of paint <br />are applied. If any welding is done after primer has been applied, the work shall be made <br />clean and smooth and the area re -primed. <br />14. Final Stage Manufacturer: <br />shall certify complete functionality of the completed unit per Federal DOT <br />Regulations for Final Stage Manufactudng. Decal shall be located on the driver's door. <br />15. Side Lacks: Steel stakes with five (5) aluminum slats 48" tall. <br />16. Hitch: Class IV Receiver hitch with "D" Rings and 7 -way connector installed at the front for a winch. <br />17. Bed Liner: Line- X will be sprayed on the headboard, flatbed, and rear step areas. <br />Federal Signal Latitude 48" long directional lightbar Model SL8S-A48 will be provided and installed on the <br />headboard.
