CLK-Pamela Aguilar
From: Ann Morrison <ann.morrison10@gmail.com>
Sent: Sunday, May 5, 2019 1:03 PM
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Hybrid and Electric Vehicles are THE only way to go in 2019
Dear Mayor and City Council,
I am extremely upset to hear that Redwood City is planning on buying two
Ford F-150 trucks. This is 2019 and climate change is here. We need to
take action immediately and only drive electric or hybrid vehicles. Please
hold off on this purchase and consider alternatives. Menlo Park bought a
fleet of plug-in hybrids for their city vehicles. I see no reason why
Redwood City cannot follow suit either this year or sometime in the very
near future.
Thank you for your consideration,
Ann Morrison
1266 Connecticut Dr. Redwood City
