Please do not open attachments or click links from an unknown or <br />suspicious origin. osxrm <br />City Council: <br />Please delay purchasing two new fossil -fuel driven pick-up trucks for the City, as scheduled for a <br />vote Monday, May 6. <br />Electric Vehicle pick-ups are expected to be on the market in a year or two, and to meet <br />the necessary goal of reducing CO2 emission from burning gasoline, we need to postpone the <br />decision to purchase any more internal combustion vehicles. <br />Fossil fuel vehicles of any kind are simply incompatible with the necessary goal of getting to net -zero <br />carbon emissions within the next ten years. <br />Please postpone the decision to purchase and direct your staff to look into alternatives. <br />Thank you for your attention. <br />Nancy <br />Nancy Goodban.
