On behalf of the
City of Redwood City, we appreciate your continued support of this exchange which will further
two important goals for the City, including building affordable housing and securing a childcare
facility in the community.
As you are aware, on June 11, 2018 the City Council took action to execute a Land Exchange and
Title Settlement Agreement (Agreement) with the State Lands Commission (SLC) for the
Bradford Street Project, an affordable housing development for seniors. The 117-unitnew
affordable housing project is a critical project for Redwood City, supporting very low income
seniors. The project also includes the construction of a much needed day care facility, which is
97
