5. By motion, direct staff to administratively incorporate the proposed fees into <br />the City's Master Fee Schedule. <br />6. By motion, appropriate $15,000 in one time funding to the Civic Cultural <br />Commission grant program to allow non-profit organizations which held special <br />events in 2018 which required City permits to apply for grant funding to help <br />offset any potential cost increases related to City permits and fees for holding <br />those same events between June 2019 and June 2020. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Motion/second Reddy/Howard to approve the following: <br />1. Waive First Reading and introduce an Ordinance amending City Code Chapter <br />33A, Article I (Temporary Street Closures) and Article III (Regulations for <br />Courthouse Square); <br />2. Adopt Resolution 15755 pursuant to California Vehicle Code section 21101(e) <br />authorizing the Chief of Police to temporarily close City streets; <br />3. Adopt Resolution 15756 updating the Schedule of Fees related to events at <br />Courthouse Square and other Special Events; <br />4. Adopt Resolution 15757 updating the Courthouse Square Administrative <br />Guidelines; and <br />5. Direct staff to administratively incorporate the proposed fees into the City's <br />Master Fee Schedule. <br />6. Appropriate $15,000 in one time funding to the Civic Cultural Commission <br />grant program to allow non-profit organizations which held special events in <br />2018 which required City permits to apply for grant funding to help offset any <br />potential cost increases related to City permits and fees for holding those same <br />events between June 2019 and June 2020. <br />The motion passes 4-1 by electronic vote with Councilmember Aguirre <br />opposed and Councilmembers Borgens and Hale absent. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />PAGE 265 <br />9.A.
