05/06/2019 No member shall be eligible for appointment to more than four (4) consecutive full terms of office: but any former member shall be eligible for appointment to the Arts Commission two years after that member ceased serving on the Commission. Sec. 2.113. - POWERS AND DUTIES: To achieve the general objectives of the Arts Commission as set'Orth o ceetien 2.112 of this Division, its powers and duties shall be as follows: A. To review and make recommendations to the Council or Manager concerning the acquisition by the City of any work of art, or item of cultural significance, and the proposed location thereof. B. To review and make recommendations to the Council or Manager for the establishment or termination of visual and performing art programs in the City. C. To review and make recommendations to the Councilor Manager for the allocation of City D. To review and make recommendations to the Council or Manager for the establishment or termination of programs memorializing or giving recognition to matters of cultural significance in the City. E. To review and make recommendations to the Council or Manager concerning the removal. F. Upon request, to advise the Council and other City boards or commissions regarding any matter affecting the beauty and culture of the City. G. To review and make recommendations to the Council or Mananer ronrernino Puhlir.
