ORIGINAL <br /> · - (08/26/96) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12861 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula is a private, non-profit agency that <br />provides after school and summer programs to kids 6-18 years of age, whom live in Redwood <br />City and the North Fair Oaks area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending <br />June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to Boys <br />and Girls Club of the Peninsula a private, non-profit agency the sum of Nine Thousand and <br />No/100 Dollars ($9,000) ; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Boys and Girls Club of <br />the Peninsula has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOO CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
