6.F. - Page 92 of 180 <br />APPENDIX C COREBT STATEMENT OF WORK <br />CORE Business Technologies (CORE or COREBT) is pleased to have this opportunityto meet Redwood <br />City's (City) objectiveto provide a robust cashiering solution that integratestoexisting billingand finance <br />systems. <br />The following proposal is based on CORE's understanding of the City's need fora consistent approach to <br />accepting and receipting payment transactions. CORE's proprietary software, iPayment Enterprise <br />(iPayment), providesthe ideal platform for supporting existing cashiering and eCommerce functions with <br />the scalabilityto accommodate future growth for unlimited users and business needs. <br />EASY TO CONFIGURE <br />One of the many benefits of iPayment is its usability and configurability. Designed with ease of use in mind, <br />screen layouts, transactional data elements, menus and graphics are all configurable bythe City. iPayment <br />was designed to make it easyto process payments and easyto getthat revenue into the correct bank <br />accounts as securelyand swiftly as possible. Screen prompts are available toguide cashiers as needed and <br />the End of Day cash balancing screens are intuitive and responsive. Afterinitial deployment, a built-in <br />configuration tool allowsthe clientto make avarietyof changes (i.e. transaction type, tendertype, fee <br />amounts, user profiles, etc.) as needed. <br />END OF DAY PROCESS <br />iPayment faciIitates rapid end of day reconciliation forthe individual cashier, departmentand treasury <br />level. The iCashiering ( POS) module also provides configurable maximum cash drawer limits, notifications <br />and supports balancingorcash pulls throughout the processing period. Control totals for balancing are <br />provided online by user, file, and workgroup (department). End of dayworkflow is supported for <br />individual user bank deposit preparation, consolidated multi-user bank deposit preparation and multi - <br />department bank deposit consolidation. <br />CASH CONTROLS <br />Individual user control totals are maintained throughoutthe processing period and are availableon- <br />demand to the transaction owner and authorized users. Cash float (change fund) tracking is available to <br />ensure cash control totals are consistent with the cash in the drawer at all times. <br />The cashier navigates to the balancing screen through a single click and is presented with control totals by <br />bank account and tender. The cashier selects the bank deposit orturn-in to be reconciled and utilizes in - <br />application countingtoolsto determine cash totals orverifychecks and otherdocuments. Cash currency <br />lists and check lists are printed and maintained bythe system. <br />Cash balancing can be performed against displayed expected amount or can be configured by user <br />profile as secured. Secured cash balancing or 'blind balancing' is utilized to provide advanced cash <br />controls. Cashiers simply count all funds in their drawer including the Cash Float.
