In addition, at least 10 days prior to the public hearing, the City made available to
the public data indicating the amount of cost, or estimated cost, required to provide the service for which
each fee or service charge is levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the service, including
General Fund revenues.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council may direct staff to consider other costs to the City in developing the fee; this could delay
the collection of a registration fee. The City Council may also decline to approve the proposed fee
altogether which would result in the General Fund funding the costs associated with the short term rental
regulation program.
ATTACHMENTS
Attachment A: Resolution
Attachment B: Exhibit A to Resolution — Short -Term Rental Fee
REPORT PREPARED BY:
Christopher Dacumos, Management Analyst II
cdacumos@redwoodcity.org
(650) 780-5957
APPROVED BY:
Steven Turner, Acting Community Development Director
Melissa Stevenson Diaz, City Manager
City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore
509
