NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City as follows: 1. The above recitals are accurate and are incorporated herein by reference. 2. The following is a list of projects planned to be funded with Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account revenues: FY 2019-20 List of Projects ProjectTitle 2019 Microsurfacing Project Project Locations Marine Parkway, City Limit to Corriente Pointe Drive • Alameda de las Pulgas, Woodside Road to City Limits • Vera Avenue Alameda de las Pul as to EI Camino Real Estimated Useful Project Life 5 to 7 years Proposed Schedule for Completion Fiscal Year 2019-20 Project Description This program addresses ongoing roadway pavement repair and replacement needs. The Roadway Management Program inventories, assesses, and tracks maintenance of the City's roadways. Each year, streets are prepared for resurfacing with crack sealing and spot repairs before being resurfaced with an "overlay;' "cape seal;' "microsurfacing emulsion," or "slurry seal". In Fiscal Year 2019-20, the City intends to use RMRA funding to do pavement repair and to install a micro surfacing emulsion on the above listed streets. ProjectTitle Hopkins Avenue Overlay Project Project Locations Hopkins Avenue, EI Camino Real to Upland Road Estimated Useful Project Life 8 to 15 years Proposed Schedule for Completion Fiscal Year 2019-20 Project Description The project will include crack sealing and spot repairs before an overlay. Work includes ADA curb ramp rehab/repair/installation, bicycle lane rehab/repair, new striping and marking installation, and adjustment of utilities to grade.
