position at the STRC ("the Director") for the 2018-2019 school year in the amount of Twenty Three Thousand Dollars ($23,000). The STRC provides information and presentations to facilitate students in learning where and how to access resources at school and community; improving their academic performance, behavior and decision making; developing communication and leadership skills and practices to improve their physical, social, and emotional health. 1. Term. Unless earlier terminated, the term of this Agreement is for the 2018- 2019 school year at SUSHD. 2. Services. SUHSD shall provide the Services listed below ("the Services") in consideration for receiving grant funding. The SUHSD will employ the Director for the 2018-19 school year. The Director shall carry out the following responsibilities: 1) Provide leadership to STRC's operations. 2) Coordinate and integrate student support services with the school's academic and extracurricular programs. 3) Expand collaborative partners and raise additional resources to support the ongoing success of the Center. 4) Assist with the design and implementation of outcome evaluation efforts to track the impact of the STRC. The Director shall also perform the following tasks: • Provide leadership and oversee the operations of the STRC • Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of community school-based mental health, social and youth development services that enhance the health and safety of children and families and improve educational outcomes of students • Monitor the STRC budget and provide fiscal management • Oversee, supervise, and manage staff, volunteers and interns • Development and foster supportive governance structure that includes public and community-based organizations, school staff, and youth. • Manage program communications in response to changing needs • Research and act on funding opportunities, including grant proposal writing, report writing, and donor development • Regularly report on the status of implementation of STRC to Redwood City 2020 • Lead and support outcome evaluation and reporting processes • Ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans developed by Page 2 of 5 REV: 04-11-19 RL ATTY/AGR.2019.093/SUSHD Teen Resource Center Director
