position at the STRC ("the Director") for the 2018-2019 school year in the amount of <br />Twenty Three Thousand Dollars ($23,000). The STRC provides information and <br />presentations to facilitate students in learning where and how to access resources at <br />school and community; improving their academic performance, behavior and <br />decision making; developing communication and leadership skills and practices to <br />improve their physical, social, and emotional health. <br />1. Term. Unless earlier terminated, the term of this Agreement is for the 2018- <br />2019 school year at SUSHD. <br />2. Services. SUHSD shall provide the Services listed below ("the Services") in <br />consideration for receiving grant funding. <br />The SUHSD will employ the Director for the 2018-19 school year. The Director shall <br />carry out the following responsibilities: <br />1) Provide leadership to STRC's operations. <br />2) Coordinate and integrate student support services with the school's <br />academic and extracurricular programs. <br />3) Expand collaborative partners and raise additional resources to support <br />the ongoing success of the Center. <br />4) Assist with the design and implementation of outcome evaluation efforts to <br />track the impact of the STRC. <br />The Director shall also perform the following tasks: <br />• Provide leadership and oversee the operations of the STRC <br />• Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of <br />community school-based mental health, social and youth development <br />services that enhance the health and safety of children and families and <br />improve educational outcomes of students <br />• Monitor the STRC budget and provide fiscal management <br />• Oversee, supervise, and manage staff, volunteers and interns <br />• Development and foster supportive governance structure that includes <br />public and community-based organizations, school staff, and youth. <br />• Manage program communications in response to changing needs <br />• Research and act on funding opportunities, including grant proposal writing, <br />report writing, and donor development <br />• Regularly report on the status of implementation of STRC to Redwood City <br />2020 <br />• Lead and support outcome evaluation and reporting processes <br />• Ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans developed by <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />REV: 04-11-19 RL <br />ATTY/AGR.2019.093/SUSHD Teen Resource Center Director <br />
