1.0 <br />This Statement of Work (SOW) is intended to document the scope, roles, responsibility, tasks <br />and timeframe for the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This <br />project is Redwood City's blue print to improve and integrate the business processes, away from <br />legacy systems and toward integrated ERP software applications. <br />This Executive Summary section is intended as an overview of the City's objectives, scope and <br />timeline for the ERP project. Following the executive summary, the terms of the SOW are <br />documented in more detail. <br />PROJECT OBJECTIVES <br />The City of Redwood City has undertaken the implementation of an ERP system to fully and <br />efficiently utilize current software tools to realize the full potential of the comprehensive financial <br />and human resources applications. The City has previously implemented several legacy systems <br />and utilized other tools such as Excel spreadsheets.
