K. - Page 1 of 19 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />Ago/ <br />DATE: June 10, 2019 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment No. 3 to the General Services Agreement for Electrical Maintenance of Street Lights and <br />Traffic Signals with Cal -West Lighting and Signal Maintenance, Inc. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 3 to the General Services <br />Agreement with Cal -West Lighting and Signal Maintenance, Inc. for electrical maintenance of traffic <br />signals, street lights, and lighted crosswalks and marking of underground electrical services in an amount <br />not to exceed $438,825, including continued City Manager authority to extend the agreement for an <br />additional one-year, consecutive term in an amount not to exceed five percent above the previous term <br />amount, for an aggregate not to exceed amount of $1,939,916.25. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />On October 17, 2016, the City Council awarded a one-year term agreement to Cal -West Lighting and Signal <br />Maintenance, Inc. (Cal -West) for electrical maintenance and repair of street lights, traffic signals, and <br />lighted crosswalks and to mark underground electrical utilities. The agreement was in an amount not to <br />exceed $330,000.
