Even if financial assistance is <br />not provided by the City, staff coordinates closely with these <br />agencies with information and referral to clients. <br />Assessment of <br />San Mateo County <br />Several goals of the Strategic Plan overlap with the goals of the <br />Fair Housing <br />Department of <br />Assessment of Fair Housing. <br />Housing <br />Table 3 — Other local / regional / federal planning efforts <br />Describe cooperation and coordination with other public entities, including the State and any <br />adjacent units of general local government, in the implementation of the Consolidated Plan <br />(91.215(1)) <br />The City coordinates with other local entitlement jurisdictions (San Mateo, Daly City, South San <br />Francisco, and San Mateo County) and has developed a "CDBG Cohort Group" which meets quarterly to <br />enhance and streamline the CDBG process for both the jurisdictions and sub -recipients. The group <br />collectively organizes community forums, requests for proposals, and joint monitoring of sub -recipients. <br />The work group has also implemented the use of standardized applications, reporting, and <br />reimbursement forms for sub -recipients and how to handle issues that may arise for the sub -recipients <br />such as reporting, invoicing, or actions needed to correct and track performance. In 2017 the City <br />collaborated with the work group to develop a regional Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH).
