6.B. - Page 29 of 42 <br />Tax Credits <br />Inclement Weather <br />Outreach <br />Information & <br />Referral <br />Arrange for emergency transportation and assistance with the cost of <br />fares. <br />Participate in the Lifeline Transportation Program for taxi vouchers, bus <br />passes, and bus tickets, when available. <br />Assist tax filing and access to tax credits via referral. <br />Promote tax preparation services to clients/the community to encourage <br />access to tax credit programs. <br />Participate in the Inclement Weather Program. <br />Attend community meetings regarding safety net services and provide <br />information to community members regarding how to access safety net <br />and homeless services. <br />Provide information and referrals to meet the needs of clients, including <br />the services above, as well as adult education, employment, physical and <br />behavioral health needs, and other needs. <br />3. Effects of Service: Services will allow county residents in crisis to stabilize their <br />situation over the short-term and to receive assistance in working towards long-term <br />solutions to emergency situations. <br />4.
