06/10/2019 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15777 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY SETTING JUNE 24, 2019, AS THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON AND ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 <br />BUDGET, DIRECTING COPIES OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 <br />BUDGET TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK, AND AUTHORIZING <br />AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE <br />AVAILABILITY OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 BUDGET AND THE <br />DATE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />WHEREAS, Section 51.5 of the City Charter requires that the City Council establish <br />a date for a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget and establish, by resolution, <br />the date for final adoption of such budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the public hearing and final budget adoption date of June 24, 2019 <br />for the fiscal year 2019-20 budget was approved in concept at the June 10, 2019 City <br />Council meeting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, June <br />24, 2019, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City <br />Hall, the City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, is <br />hereby set as the time and place for public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2019-20 <br />and also for final adoption of such budget. <br />2.
