DES:djk 07/23/96 (024/42) <br /> -- 0 R I G I N AL - 8/12/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12846 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING CALIFORNIA STATE <br /> OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT TO PURCHASE CERTAIN HE~IN <br /> DESCRIBED VEHICLE TIRES AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Code Section <br />2.80 and Public Contracts Code Section 10324, this Council does <br />hereby authorize and request the Office of Procurement of the <br />State of California to purchase under Contract No. 1-94-26-03, on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, certain materials, supplies <br />and equipment, to wit: various sized vehicle tires conforming to <br />specifications of the Department of Public Works Services of the <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />sign and deliver all necessary requests and other purchase <br />documents (in form approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate <br />the purchase approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
