CSA <br />a. 1598, Luminaires <br />B. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION FOR LED LIGHT FIXTURES AND MOUNTING ARMS <br />1. LED light fixtures and mounting arms shall be CSA Certified to U.S. Standards and shall <br />comply with ANSI: C136.2, C136.10, C136.14, C136.15, C135.31 and C136.37. <br />2. Luminaire housing shall be fabricated from die cast aluminum low copper content alloy. <br />a. Luminaire housing shall act as passive heat sink for LED Array. The use of fans <br />or gels is prohibited. <br />b. Housing shall be designed in such a manner that debris build-up with -in "heat - <br />fin" structure will not significantly impact lamp lumen depreciation (LLD). <br />c. Luminaire finish and casting shall be tested to ASTM 13117 salt fog, and must <br />maintain a scribe creepage rating of 7 per ASTM D1654 after 5000 hours. <br />d. Luminaire shall have a hinged doorframe for quick access to internal <br />components. <br />e. Luminaire shall have die-cast trigger latch on doorframe allows for tool -less entry. <br />f. Tool -less access shall accommodate user wearing electrical gloves. <br />g. Weight of fixture shall not exceed 14 lbs. <br />h. EPA of fixture shall not exceed 0.76 Sq. Ft. <br />i. Luminaire shall have rectangular form factor to match existing fixture housing. <br />j. Luminaire configuration shall allow for modular upgradability and/or field repair <br />of all electrical components (i.e. LED modules, Driver(s), etc.). <br />k. Mounting and housing bolts shall be of non -corrosive material. <br />I. Luminaire door shall be made die cast aluminum low copper content alloy with <br />no polycarbonate or fiberglass material. <br />3. ED light engine <br />a. ED light engines shall be IP66 rated. <br />b. ED light engines shall be a discreet LED array design. No chip on board LED <br />designs are acceptable. <br />c. Lenses shall be created from acrylic to ensure longevity and minimize dirt <br />depreciation. <br />d.
