6.R. - Page 3 of 9 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />Adoption of the attached resolution is exempt from environmental review under California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) exemption Section 15308, Actions by Regulatory Agencies for Protection of the <br />Environment. This exemption provision applies to actions taken by regulatory agencies, as authorized by <br />state or local ordinance, to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of the <br />environment where the regulatory process involves procedures for protection of the environment as <br />discussed above.
