6.C. - Page 2 of 3 <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The transfer of unclaimed funds issued of less than $15.00, issued between 2010 and 2018, will generate <br />$226.65 in revenue to the General Fund. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public Notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />If the City Council does not authorize the transfer of unclaimed funds, it would result in noncompliance <br />with the City's Unclaimed Funds Policy and the unclaimed checks would remain on the unclaimed funds <br />list until other action is taken.
