6.T. - Page 331 of 406 <br />Pandemic Alert Period <br />Phase 3 - new human <br />subtype no/little human to <br />human <br />Follow the City Plan plus: <br />Finance <br />• Review emergency vendor contact list and ensure contact <br />information is current. <br />• Review Calcard holder list and ensure list is current. <br />• Coordinate anticipated emergency requirements with other <br />key departments / divisions. <br />• Review the City EOR <br />• Conduct staff training exercise on the EOR Brief staff on EOP, <br />Essential Functions and Line of Succession <br />• Conduct Line of Succession exercise with Purchasing Manager, <br />Purchasing Supervisor, Calcard Program Manager assumed to <br />be unavailable for duty (not more than four hours exercise, <br />using "missing" staff members as evaluators and to prepare <br />after -action report). <br />• Prepare exercise after -action report identifying strengths, <br />deficiencies and plans for improved response. <br />Human Resources <br />• Establish theme of any upcoming Employee Benefits Fair as <br />Hygiene for Health. Have all vendors support that theme in <br />some manner. <br />• Develop or identify resources to conduct supervisory <br />public health/disaster training. <br />• Support funding so that seasonal flu vaccination can be <br />provided to employees and dependents. <br />• Develop a City policy regarding how to manage employee <br />pay if/when they need to go home sick even though they <br />have no leave accruals (see Phase S). <br />D-42 <br />.1V <br />
