Adopt a resolution requiring applicants for building demolition permits to <br />conduct a "PCBs in Priority Building Materials Screening Assessment" in <br />compliance with applicable federal and state laws intended to reduce water <br />pollution in San Francisco Bay <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution establishing requirements for building demolition permit <br />applicants to conduct the following actions to manage building materials that <br />potentially contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs): <br />1. Conduct a "PCBs in Priority Building Materials Screening Assessment" and <br />submit information documenting the results of the screening to the City for <br />submission to the State Water Board. <br />2. When the assessment identifies one or more Priority Building Materials with <br />PCBs, comply with all related applicable federal and state laws, including <br />reporting to appropriate federal and state regulatory agencies, and be subject <br />to sampling and abatement requirements. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.S. Adoption of a Green Infrastructure Plan intended to reduce pollution in <br />stormwater flowing to San Francisco Bay, and amendment of City Code <br />Chapter 18 and Chapter 27A for the inclusion of Green Infrastructure <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving the Green Infrastructure Plan. <br />2. Waive First Reading and introduce an Ordinance amending City Code Chapter <br />18 Article XIV (Local Development Standards) and Chapter 27A Article II <br />(Stormwater Treatment Measures and Maintenance Program) to implement the <br />City's Green Infrastructure Plan. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 8.
