44. Repair or Replace Street Infrastructure - Restore streets surrounding the project <br />site to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at project completion. This shall include, at <br />a minimum, dig -outs as needed and slurry seal along the project frontages on Vera <br />and Adams. When this requires additional pavement restoration, the Engineer shall <br />approve the preferred layout of pavement markings. [SDR] [ENGINEERING] <br />Fire and Safetv <br />45. Available Water Supply to Project Site - Provide current fire flow information from <br />the water purveyor to indicate the maximum available water flow in gallons per <br />minute (GPM) at a minimum of 20 pounds per square inch (psi) residual pressure. <br />This information must be dated and indicate the information is the most current <br />information available from the water purveyor. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />46. Required Fire Flow from Municipal Water Supply - On the project information <br />sheet or other sheets as designated in the plans provide the required fire flow for the <br />project based on the square footage of the building and type of construction in <br />accordance with Appendix B of the 2016 California Fire Code (CFC). Based on the <br />construction type of the two buildings the required fire flow will be a minimum mof <br />2375 GPM @ 20 Psi residual pressure for a duration of 2 hours. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />47. Fire Hydrants - The number, location and spacing of required Fire Hydrants are <br />based upon the required fire flow for this project and shall be determined utilizing <br />Appendix B and C of the 2016 CFC. The proposed two new Fire Hydrants meet this <br />requirement. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />48. Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems - The building and garage areas are required to <br />be equipped throughout with automatic fire sprinkler systems meeting NFPA <br />Standard 13D with a separate fire sprinkler riser serving each townhouse. Provide <br />plans and hydraulic calculations for the design of these systems. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />49. Premise Identification - Indicate on the plans where the premises identification <br />(address) will be located and the size in contrasting background facing the street from <br />which the building takes the address. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />50. Portable Fire Extinguishers- Portable fire extinguishers, with a minimum <br />classification of 2A:10BC are required to be permanently installed in the common <br />areas within 75 feet of travel from all portions of the buildings in compliance with <br />NFPA 10 and CFC 906. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />51. Carbon Monoxide Alarms - Single or multiple station carbon monoxide alarms are <br />required in all residential occupancies where fuel -burning appliances are installed or <br />that have an attached garage CBC 915.1. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />52. Smoke Detectors - Smoke detectors shall be installed in locations specified in <br />Section 907.2.11.2 of the CBC.
