CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />POLICE EVIDENCE AND PROPERTY CLERK (Continued) <br />Take appropriate precautions when handling blood, body fluids, chemicals, <br />and other potentially dangerous substances. <br />Skill to: <br />Manage multiple tasks, and be detail -oriented. <br />Operate modern office equipment including computer equipment and <br />software platforms used by police personnel. <br />Operate a motor vehicle safely. <br />Experience and Training Guidelines: <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the <br />required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the <br />knowledge and abilities would be: <br />Experience: <br />Three years in a clerical or para -professional position related to law <br />enforcement or criminal justice. <br />Training: <br />Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade supplemented by college <br />level courses in criminology or a related field. <br />License or Certificate: <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California driver's <br />license. <br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS <br />Essential duties require the following physical abilities and work environment: <br />Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, crawl, twist, climb stairs, <br />balance on a ladder, frequently lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds, and occasionally lift <br />up to fifty (50) pounds; exposure to cold, heat, outdoors, dust, and biological and <br />hazardous materials. <br />4 <br />ATTY/RESO.0068/CC RESO AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION & SALARY PLAN -EXHIBITS A- C RESO.
