0 R I G I N A L /29/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12839 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> THE CITIES OF MENLO PARK, BURLINGAME, SAN MATEO, <br /> AND THE PENINSULA CORRIDOR JOINT POWERS BOARD <br /> REGARDING RESPONSIBILITIES INHERENT WITH A PROJECT <br /> TO DESIGN AND INSTALL RUBBERIZED GRADE CROSSINGS <br /> AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ALONG THE CALTRAIN COMMUTER <br /> RAILROAD TRACKS WITHIN SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("Redwood City"), the Cities of <br />Menlo Park, Burlingame, and San Mateo, ("Each City"), and the Peninsula <br />Corridor Joint Powers Board ("JPB") desire to enter into an agreement for a <br />project to design and install rubberized grade crossings at various locations <br />along the CALTRAIN commuter railroad tracks within San Mateo County; <br /> <br /> BE. IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement Between the City of <br />Redwood City, the Cities of Menlo Park, Burlingame, San Mateo, and the <br />Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board Regarding Responsibilities Inherent With <br />a Project to Design and Install Rubberized Grade Crossings at Various Locations <br />Along the CALTRAIN Commuter Railroad Tracks Within San Mateo County," for <br />the performance of installing rubberized grade crossings at up to fifteen (15) <br />locations along the CALTRAIN commuter railroad tracks within San Mateo <br />County, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />G ;',s hared\Redwood~Cou ncil <br />Reso-51 <br />FXS:fv <br />07/01/96 <br />07/10/96R <br /> <br /> <br />
