EOC Director <br />RESPONSIBLE FOR LEADING THE STAFF IN THE EOC AND DIRECTING/COORDINATING WITH DIRECTORS IN <br />OTHER CITY DOCS <br />ELEMENTS INCLUDE: <br />• Overall management and coordination of emergency response and recovery operations <br />• Oversee and manage all Sections in the EOC <br />• Coordinate and liaison with appropriate federal, state, county government, private and volunteer <br />entities <br />• Establish priorities and resolve demand conflicts <br />• Establish appropriate EOC staffing level <br />• Continuously monitor organizational effectiveness and make appropriate changes <br />• Exercise overall management responsibility for the coordination between emergency response <br />agencies in the jurisdiction <br />• Alongside General Staff, set jurisdictional priorities for response <br />• Ensure all department/agency actions support established EOC priorities <br />• Ensure that inter -agency coordination is accomplished effectively <br />• Prepare and disseminate emergency public information, other essential information and data <br />about impacts and damage <br />Reports To: <br />Policy Group/City Council <br />Operational Area EOC Director <br />Supervises: <br />MANAGEMENT STAFF <br />GENERAL STAFF <br />EOC Coordinator <br />Operations Section Chief/Coordinator <br />Legal Advisor <br />Planning/Intelligence Chief/Coordinator <br />Liaison Officer <br />Logistics Section Chief/Coordinator <br />Safety Officer <br />Finance Section Chief/Coordinator <br />Security Officer <br />Public Information Officer <br />Plans and Reports: <br />• EOC ACTION PLAN/REVIEW + APPROVAL <br />• ADVANCE PLAN(S)/REVIEW + APPROVAL <br />• DEMOBILIZATION PLAN/REVIEW + APPROVAL <br />• PRESS RELEASES/REVIEW +APPROVAL <br />• REPORTS/REVIEW + APPROVAL <br />C-5 <br />
