Fire and Rescue Branch <br />Responsible for coordinating personnel, equipment and resources committed to fire and search and <br />rescue elements of the incident. <br />ELEMENTS INCLUDE: <br />• Supervise the Fire & Rescue Branch and assigned units <br />• Coordinate fire and urban search and rescue operations <br />• Assist Fire & Rescue Mutual Aid System Coordinator in acquiring mutual aid resources, as <br />necessary <br />• Coordinate the mobilization and transportation of all resources through the Logistics Section <br />• Complete and maintain status reports for major incidents requiring or potentially requiring <br />operational area, state and federal response and maintain status of unassigned fire & rescue <br />resources <br />• Coordinate with the Law Enforcement Branch Coordinator on jurisdiction Search & Rescue <br />activities <br />• Implement the objectives of the EOC Action Plan assigned to the Fire & Rescue Branch <br />Reports To: <br />Operations Section Chief <br />Supervises: <br />• FIREFIGHTING STATUS <br />• SEARCH & RESCUE STATUS <br />Forms and Guides: <br />• POSITION JOB AID <br />• ICS -205 COMMUNICATION LIST <br />• ICS -209 INCIDENT STATUS SUMMARY <br />• ICS -211 CHECK-IN LIST <br />• ICS -214 ACTIVITY LOG <br />• FIRE DEPLOYED RESOURCES <br />Technology: <br />• LAPTOP <br />• PHONE (DESK OR CELL) <br />Tools: <br />• WORKSTATION <br />• POSITION BINDER (CAN BE VIRTUAL) <br />• VEST <br />C-27 <br />
