❑ Check work station to ensure readiness <br />❑ Wear identification vest and read over job aid <br />❑ Obtain initial briefings from field command post(s) or DOC <br />❑ Maintain contact with established DOCs and work/control/dispatch centers to coordinate <br />resources and response personnel <br />❑ Direct field units to report pertinent information (mass casualties, damage observations, <br />evacuation status, radiation levels, chemical exposures, etc.) to the appropriate EOC Operations <br />Branch <br />Response: <br />Manage and supervise the Emergency Medical/Hazardous Materials Branch <br />I❑ Continuously monitor the organizational effectiveness and modifies as necessary <br />❑ Ensure coordination of hospitals, health units, continuing care, mental health and environmental <br />health within the City <br />❑ Ensure all Medical Unit resources are tracked and accounted for in cooperation with the <br />Planning Section Resource Unit, as well as resources ordered through Mutual Aid <br />❑ Meet regularly with Medical/Health Branch staff and works to reach consensus on Operations <br />Section objectives for forthcoming operational periods and ensures they are carried out <br />effectively as per the EOC Action Plan <br />❑ Coordinate with the San Mateo County Department of Public Health on all public health matters, <br />emergencies and incidents <br />❑ Implement Point of Dispensing operations when directed by the San Mateo County Department <br />of Public Health <br />❑ Assist in dissemination of public health warning to the public <br />Shift Change: <br />Provide turnover briefing to position replacement <br />❑ Provide details regarding ongoing activities and planned activities to be accomplished during the <br />upcoming operational period <br />• POSITION JOB AID <br />• FORM: CURRENT ICS -214 <br />❑ Provide all completed documentation to the Documentation Unit <br />❑ Follow EOC check out procedures, including signing out, work station clean-up and forwarding <br />phone number where you can be reached <br />• FORM: ICS -211 <br />• FORM: ICS -205 <br />C-73 <br />
