❑ Wear identification vest and read overjob aid <br />❑ Receive situation, section and position briefing from available and appropriate personnel <br />❑ Ensure readiness to maintain concise records of position activities <br />• FORM: ICS -214 <br />Response: <br />❑ Develop a system to post to the significant events, log casualty information, health concerns, <br />property damage, fire status, size of risk area, scope of the hazard to the public, number of <br />evacuees, etc. <br />❑ Develop sources of information and assist the Planning/Intelligence Section Chief in collecting, <br />organizing and analyzing data from the other EOC sections <br />❑ Provide for an authentication process in case of conflicting status reports <br />❑ Meet with the Planning/Intelligence Section Chief and the EOC to determine support needs for <br />planning meetings and briefings. <br />❑ Determines if there are any special information needs <br />• PLAN: INFORMATION COLLECTION PLAN APPENDIX B <br />❑ Works with the Situation Analysis Unit to create maps, displays and reports <br />❑ Maps specific zones or areas that detail damage surveys in conjunction with state and federal <br />agencies <br />Prepares, sets up and maintains EOC displays <br />❑ Keeps data current concerning: availability of personnel, equipment and supplies; equipment or <br />personnel out of service <br />❑ Participates in Planning/Intelligence Section Meetings and participates in EOC Action Plan <br />development <br />❑ Provides information to be included in the Situation Report (i.e. mapping) <br />❑ Obtains data on all impacts to include: <br />• Utilities and infrastructure (i.e. roads, bridges, electric lines, pipelines, buildings, etc.) <br />• Numbers of homes destroyed or damaged, public facilities destroyed or damaged <br />• Critical facilities damaged or destroyed and locations (hospital, power stations, industry or <br />manufacturers, water facilities, etc.) <br />• Financial impacts and costs expended by the County and coordinate with Cost Unit Leader in <br />Finance Section <br />❑ Ensures that necessary maps and data pertinent to the operations are obtained <br />❑ Maps areas that may have to be rezoned, destroyed, reconstructed and/or modified because of <br />the disaster (Consultation with the Planning Section) <br />Shift Change: <br />C-107 <br />
