❑ Coordinate with the Liaison Officer and Security Officer to ensure access, badging or <br />identification, and proper direction for responding personnel upon arrival at the EOC <br />❑ Assist the Fire Rescue Branch and Law Enforcement Branch with ordering of mutual aid resources <br />as required. To minimize redundancy, coordinate all requests for personnel resources from the <br />field level through the EOC Operations Section prior to acting on the request <br />❑ In coordination with the Safety Officer, determine the need for crisis counseling for emergency <br />workers; acquire mental health specialists as needed <br />❑ Arrange for child care services for EOC personnel as required <br />❑ Establish registration locations with sufficient staff to register volunteers, and issue them disaster <br />service worker identification cards <br />• FORM: DSWV REGISTRATION <br />❑ Keep the Logistics Support Branch Director informed of significant issues affecting the Personnel <br />Unit <br />Volunteer Coordinator <br />❑ Staff the Volunteer Team in the EOC and supports the Planning Section Resource Unit and the <br />Logistics Section Supply Unit <br />❑ Establish one or more assembly and staging sites for volunteers to report for credential screening <br />and potential assignment (Volunteer Reception Centers) <br />❑ Manage the Volunteer DSW/V process including document management <br />• FORM: DSW/V REGISTRATION <br />Shift Change: <br />Provide turnover briefing to position replacement <br />❑ Provide details regarding ongoing activities and planned activities to be accomplished during the <br />upcoming operational period <br />• POSITION JOB AID <br />• FORM: CURRENT ICS -214 <br />❑ Provide all completed documentation to the Documentation Unit <br />❑ Follow EOC check out procedures, including signing out, work station clean-up and forwarding <br />phone number where you can be reached <br />• FORM: ICS -211 <br />• FORM: ICS -205 <br />Demobilization and Termination: <br />J Deactivate position when authorized by EOC Director and follow Demobilization Unit Leader <br />directions/plan <br />❑ Complete all required forms, reports and other documentation <br />C-128 <br />
