This could include
telecom, cell phone, e-mail, VPN connectivity, and social media
• Encouraging employees to use only their assigned phone and/or work station
• Providing workplaces with antimicrobial wipes to clean contact surfaces like countertops, door
handles, phones, steering wheels, etc. A 10% bleach solution is also effective and may be used to
clean surfaces
• Closing public service counters and public venues at the discretion of City Manager
Personal Protective Equipment:
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves and NIOSH approved disposable N-95
respirators (masks) will be purchased with a rotating cache of supplies maintained by
Administrative Services
• The use of masks will be implemented on a situational basis and as recommended in public health
guidelines during Pandemic Phases five and six
• The appropriate use of masks including donning and doffing, not leaving masks dangling around
neck, performing hand hygiene after handling masks, discarding mask if it becomes soiled or
D-33
