3.6 Unit Employees <br />The City shall supply the Union an electronic data report with the names, classifications, departments, work <br />locations, work, home, and personal cellular telephone numbers on file with the City, personal email addresses <br />on file with the City, and home addresses on file with the City of all present and newly hired employees in the <br />SEIU unit on a bi-weekly basis. The employee may opt out of the City's disclosure of personal contact <br />information on a form agreed to by the City and the Union. The Union will receive a copy of completed forms. <br />On a quarterly basis, the City shall supply the Union with the names and classifications of all contract <br />employees, and the names, classifications, departments and fiscal year to date cumulative hours worked of <br />all casual and temporary employees, assigned to classifications within the SEW unit. <br />3.7 New Employees <br />New employees hired and assigned to classifications covered by the SEIU Unit shall be advised by the City <br />that Local 521, Service Employees International Union, is the recognized bargaining representative in said <br />unit. <br />The City will provide to the Union a list of employees attending the City's new employee orientation at least <br />ten (10) days prior to the orientation, except that a shorter notice period may be provided in a specific instance <br />where there is an urgent need critical to the City's operations that was not reasonably foreseeable. With thirty <br />(30) days of hiring the employee, the City shall provide the Union with a list that includes each employee's <br />employee identification number, name, job classification, department, work location (title and address), work <br />phone number (if available in the payroll system), work email address (if available in the payroll system), hire <br />date, and, subject to the individual employee's consent, the employee's home address, personal mobile <br />number, home phone number, and personal home email address. (Subsequent lists will be provided in <br />accordance with section 3.6 above.) Following orientation sessions where new employees represented by <br />the bargaining unit are present, the Union shall be allowed thirty (30) minutes during the session to speak to <br />employees represented by the Union. One steward or chapter officer shall be granted release time for this <br />purpose. <br />The City will provide a list of all new employees, including their contact information, who were excused, absent <br />and unable to attend their scheduled new employee orientation within ten (10) business days following each <br />new employee orientation, and will permit each employee thirty (30) minutes of their scheduled work time to <br />meet with the Union representative. One steward or chapter officer shall be granted release time for this <br />purpose. <br />3.8 Printing of the Agreement <br />The Union agrees that the Union shall complete the printing of this Agreement. The Union and the City will <br />share equally in the printing costs. The cover of the Agreement shall bear both the City and Union Logo. The <br />Union agrees to provide each bargaining unit member with a copy of this Agreement. The Union agrees to <br />provide the Personnel Officer with sufficient copies of this Agreement so that each new bargaining unit <br />employee hired through the life of this Agreement shall be provided with a copy of this Agreement. <br />
