Utilize hydraulic evaluation criteria provided by the City for the
recycled water system operation.
• Develop Revised Layout Plan for Downtown Area: Coordinate with the City to develop a
revised layout plan for the recycled water pipelines within the City's Zone 2C of the
recycled water system, south of Marshall Street. Locations for customers will be provided
by the City. One layout plan will be incorporated into the hydraulic model. The hydraulic
evaluation criteria provided by the City for the recycled water system operation will be used
to size the revised layout plan. Existing utilities will be considered when selecting
alignments, but a full alignment study is not included.
Task 2. Citv Data Requirements:
• Recycled water demands for the Project area for existing and buildout conditions
• Most recent version of the recycled water model
• List of recycled water customers to be considered with associated demands to use
Task 3. Evaluate Sewer Collection System
Consultant will perform a sewer collection system analysis to determine sewer collection system
infrastructure requirements to serve the Project. The following work will be performed:
• Update the Hydraulic Model: Update the City's existing sewer collection system hydraulic model
to include proposed sewer mains identified in the Preliminary Utility Study and allocate dry -
weather and wet -weather flows provided by the City for the Project. The design storm used for
the wet -weather flows will be identified. Hydraulic model files will be provided in Info works
ICM and EPASWMM format. Up to four flow split manholes within the project area will be
identified and field verified.
• Perform Hydraulic Evaluation of Available and Needed Capacity: Perform a hydraulic
analysis for the sewer collection system to calculate available and needed dry -weather and
wet -weather capacity for new facilities to serve the Project and for existing facilities
downstream of the development area. Perform the analysis for existing conditions and for
buildout conditions with the demands for the Project included to determine the hydraulic
impact of the Project on the City's sewer collection system. Identify impacts to the Maple
Sanitary Sewer Pump Station and coordinate with Silicon Valley Clean Water's recent
analysis of this pump station. Utilize hydraulic evaluation criteria in the City's Sewer
Collection. System Master Plan for the collection system performance criteria.
Perform Condition Assessment: Perform up to three CCTV inspections of gravity sewers within
the project area. These have been identified as along Elm Street between Lathrop Street and Main
Street, along the railroad right-of-way between Elm Street and Cedar Street and along Maple Street
between El Camino Real and Middlefield Road. Review the video and log files for the three CCTV
inspections performed within this task. Review log files provided by the City for the immediate
project area. Spot check the CCTV videos files to confirm the PACP grade 5 defects identified in
the log files (assume there are no more than five of these). Identify any defects that will be made
worse if not migrated by the project. The PACP grade 3, 4 and 5 defects will be identified and
ATTY/AGR/2019/AMEN DM ENTS/AM END N 0.1- AECO M
REV: 06-17-19 PR
45
