City of <br />Redwood City, et al., 17CIV05787 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve settlement as memorialized in the Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release in <br />Dynin, et al. v. City of Redwood City, et al., 17CIV05787 <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />This is a lawsuit arising from a trip and fall that occurred on EI Camino Real near Chestnut Street on <br />December 12, 2016. The parties reached a global settlement at $80,000, with $55,000 from the City and <br />$25,000 from the State of California.
