attendance issues, in limited investigations, by maintaining a visible presence on <br />campus as staffing allows, and in providing other supports to the school as <br />determined collaboratively between representatives of City and District. <br />ii. If requested by the school, the City will provide a parent <br />workshop to educate and support Sequoia High School students and parents <br />about the dangers of gang interest and membership. <br />iii. City will attend partnership meetings and participate in <br />information sharing, problem -solving, evaluation and data collection process, as <br />agreed to with the school. <br />3. Obligations of District. During the term of this Agreement, District hereby <br />covenants and agrees to the following: <br />A. District will identify and refer students and families to City for services, <br />B. District will attend partnership meetings and participate in information <br />sharing, problem solving, evaluation, and data collection process, as agreed to on a case <br />by case basis. <br />C. District, in conjunction with the City, will hold an annual <br />"Lockdown/Barricade" or"Active Shooter" drill. <br />D. District will provide adequate program and office space as requested <br />by the City. <br />E. District will act as fiscal agent for the partnership. <br />F. Districtwill oversee and maintain contract agreements. <br />G. Districtwill identify and communicate training opportunities to City. <br />H. District will oversee and support evaluation and data collection, as agreed <br />to on a case by case basis. <br />4. Supplemental Services. District may request City to provide additional law <br />enforcement services for evening or weekend events such as PTA meetings, Back- to -School <br />Nights, Open House, athletic or performance events, dances, proms, or other District -sponsored <br />events. City will use its best efforts to provide the requested services by the SRO. District shall <br />compensate City for such supplemental services, whether the SRO or a patrol officer provides <br />the services. <br />5. Compensation. The SRO shall be compensated by the City. District shall <br />compensate City for services provided under Paragraph 2 above for the sum of <br />$30,000.00. City shall submit an invoice at the end of the school year by May 31, 2020. <br />Payment shall be made by District in one (1) payment due on or before June 30, 2020. <br />6.
