<br />Bud2et Narrative for 2007-2008 ROP Internship pr02ram <br /> <br />Goals for the year 2007-2008 have been modified to reflect the reduction in funding for <br />the CDBG grant. <br /> <br />$5,000 Grant to be used to help support salary for the teacher and supervisor of the <br />Regional Occupational Business internship program. <br /> <br />Goal 1: The Internship program will place seven Redwood City Interns into business and <br />non-business positions. <br /> <br />1. 1 intern at City Hall as a receptionist. <br />2. 3 Interns at Fair Oaks Intergenerational Center. Zen Vigileos, supervisor. <br />3.3 Interns at Allstate Insurance Company 705 Veterans Blvd. RWC <br /> <br />Goal 2: The internship program with also supervise h!Q students who will create, <br />compile and maintain ajob opening dataase using MS Access. The database will be for <br />the purpose of keeping track and posting of job openings created in the redevelopment <br />district ofRWC. <br />
