0 R I G I N A L 7/15/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12820 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR VESTING <br /> TENTATIVE MAP BY ELECTRONIC ARTS REDWOOD, INC. <br /> <br /> (FLATIRONS FUNDING) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by Electronic Arts Redwood, Inc. <br />as agent for Flatirons Funding, Limited Parmership, for a vesting tentative map to create <br />fo,&qeen parcels plus a fight-of-way for the extension of Shoreline Drive on an <br />approximately 42.63-acre site at the comer of Redwood Shores Parkway and Twin <br />Dolphin Drive ("Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, eight of these parcels will be dedicated to open space, common area <br />and a central green quad, thereby ensuring that the Project will contribute to the public <br />interest as well as creating a pleasant environment for occupants and visitors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the design of the Project will minimize impacts on adjacent <br />residential properties, compared to a previously approved site plan for the Project site; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 4, June 18 and June 19, 1996, the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Redwood City heard and received oral and documentary testimony. On June <br />19, 1996, the Planning Commission approved a Resolution approving Vesting Tentative <br />Map TM10801-5; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 25, 1996, the Planning Commission decision approving <br />Vesting Tentative Map TM10801-5 was appealed to the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has held a duly noticed public hearing at which <br /> public comment relating to the Project, including the vesting tentative map application, <br /> has been received; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct. <br /> <br /> 2.
