Approval of the revised Boards, Commissions and Committees Attendance Policy and introduction of an Ordinance Amending Redwood City Code Section 2.102 — Vacancies; Removal of Members Recommendation: 1. By motion, approve the revised Boards, Commissions and Committees Attendance Policy (BCC Attendance Policy) clarifying that the policy applies to all Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs), clarifying removal procedures for certain BCC members for non-attendance reasons in order to align with the City Charter, clarifying that a member must be present for at least fifty percent (50%) of a meeting to be counted as present, and clarifying that if a meeting is cancelled for lack of business, Election Day, summer recess, or winter recess, that meeting will not be factored into the calculation of the percentage of absences by a member over a twelve month consecutive period. 2. Waive the first reading and introduce an Ordinance Amending Redwood City Code Section 2.102 (Vacancies; Removal of Members) of Article IX (Boards and Commissions) of Chapter 2 (Administration) of the Redwood City Code.
