6.0. - Page 6 of 8 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City of Redwood City affirms its commitment to working collaboratively <br />with State agencies, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), municipalities <br />and other public agencies to develop a highly integrated regional transportation system <br />that provides convenient, seamless, and affordable transit for customers. <br />2. The City of Redwood City supports MTC and transit agencies working <br />together to undertake an integrated fare structure program business case that includes <br />exploration of options for implementation, governance, and additional funding sources <br />that may be needed for implementation. <br />3. The City of Redwood City supports the Seamless Transit Principles listed <br />in Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference, and agrees to have the <br />City of Redwood City be publicly listed as a supporter. <br />4. The City Council of the City of Redwood City authorizes the City Manager <br />to prepare and sign support letters for Bay Area Seamless Transit system as needed. <br />5.
