A typical way to obtain the <br />minimum knowledge and abilities would be: <br /> <br />Experience: <br /> <br />Five years of increasingly responsible experience in relevant and <br />complex office administration, preferably in local government; including <br />three years of supervisory experience. <br /> <br />Education: <br /> <br />Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or <br />university with major course work in public or business administration <br />or a closely related field. <br /> <br />License or Certificate: <br /> <br />Possession of a valid California Driver's License. <br /> <br />Certification as a Municipal Clerk or participation in a program leading toward <br />certification. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: <br />Essential duties require the following physical abilities and work environment: <br /> <br />Ability to: work in a standard office environment with some ability to sit for long <br />periods of time, with prolonged exposure to a computer screen and extensive <br />public contact; attend meetings outside normal work hours; travel to various <br />locations within and outside the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />Effective Date: <br />Bargaining Group: Executive Management <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />14815 <br />Muff #903 <br />
