Develop Annual Banner Program (proposed fee: $4,800) <br />a. Consultant will meet with Redevelopment Director to review status of Downtown Ban- <br />ner Program and discuss scope of work. <br />b. Consultant will prepare Scope of Work for review by Redevelopment Director. <br />c. Consultant will collect existing maps and other information on Banner Program from <br />City, review them, and adapt them to the Annual Banner Program document. <br />d. Consultant will prepare a comprehensive Banner Program including: <br />i. standard sizes and design templates <br />ii. annual rotating schedule of seasonal banners <br />iii. strategy for Downtown business sponsorship <br />iv, map of banner locations, showing which are available for sponsorship and which are <br />standard banners in each season. <br /> <br />SUBMITIAL: Annual Banner Program document (a report format booklet with maps, texts, <br />schedule, and other graphics). One preliminary draft, one administrative draft, one final report <br />(three submittals total). <br /> <br />2. Prepare Contract Documents ($5,400) <br />a. Consultant will prepare drawings and specifications for banner material, fabrication, and <br />mounting to existing poles, using standard banner technology. <br />b. Consultant will prepare bid documents for competitive bid according to City policy to <br />secure a vendor to fabricate new banners as needed, and install both new and existing <br />banners according to the Annual Banner Program. <br />c. Consultant will assist City in evaluating bids, and reviewing selected contractor's work <br />product. <br /> <br />SUBMlrrAL: Contract Documents (Plans, specifications, details) <br />One preliminary submittal, one administrative draft, one final bid set (three submittals total). <br /> <br />3. Holiday Banners. ($2,400) <br />Consultant will prepare designs for Holiday Banners, review them with City, and assist City in <br />finding and working with a sole-source contractor to fabricate and install them by Thanksgiving. <br /> <br />SUBMITIAL: Drawings and specifications. <br />One submittal of concept alternatives, one prefermd concept design development, and one final <br />camera-ready art. <br />
