08/26/2019 <br />addition will be deemed complete and/or issued by the time a traditional <br />ordinance would go into effect. <br />Now, therefore, the City Council hereby declares and imposes an urgency Ordinance for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety as set forth below: <br />SECTION 5. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby adopts the <br />Zoning Ordinance Amendments including new Zoning Ordinance Article 48 as shown in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, by adding text shown <br />in underline exam le) and deleting text shown in strikeout (example). Wording in <br />brackets ([example]) is informational only and is not to be included in the published <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 6. Pursuant to Government Code section 36937(b), this Ordinance shall <br />take effect immediately. <br />SECTION 7. The proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments have been reviewed <br />with respect to applicability of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and the <br />State CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq.). <br />The project is exempt from CEQA as it can be seen with certainty that there is no impact on <br />the environment. (See CEQA Guidelines 15061 (b) (3)) as described in the staff report. <br />SECTION 8. The City Council hereby declares every section, paragraph, sentence, <br />cause and phrase is severable. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of <br />this ordinance is for any reason found to be invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity, or <br />unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining sections, <br />paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases. <br />SECTION 9.
