Develop and seek City Council approval of the vision for housing development in <br />the City; and propagate that vision and secure community support for housing <br />activities through outreach to the community. <br />14. Develop, coordinate, facilitate and carry out community outreach and education <br />activities related to housing issues in the City. <br />15. Ensure proper and timely responses to housing related inquiries from various <br />parties. <br />16. Assist with preparation and implementation of the Housing Element. <br />17. Coordinate real estate transactions, including but not limited to acquisition, <br />disposition, and escrow. <br />18. Monitor rehabilitations in progress, acting as liaison between applicants, City and <br />contractor and grant funding agencies. <br />19. Implement, oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of the City's renter protection <br />measures. <br />20. Build relationships and connect for profit and nonprofit housing development <br />interests. <br />21. Administer the City's Affordable Housing Fund; negotiate funding agreements for <br />affordable housing projects and programs. <br />22. Work with financial institutions and the public in securing and processing loans. <br />23. Supervise, train, develop and evaluate assigned staff. <br />24.
