CLK-Pamela Aguilar
From: Mark Bauhaus <bauhausone@gmail.com>
Sent: Monday, September 23, 2019 10:26 AM
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Vote YES on Reach codes, which are good for city and carbon drawdown ...
Council,
Please approve and implement the Reach Codes under consideration to increase building efficiency while reducing
carbon footprint. These codes will increase local property values by quality construction, ensure high value living for
our residents, and reduce our carbon footprint to help prevent catastrophic sea level rise and flooding that Redwood
City faces sooner than later.
All cities and counties in our region are likely to approve the same Reach Codes for buildings for the same reason... great
economics for builders and residents, increased local property values, and important action to prevent the worst of
climate change.
Vote YES on the Reach Codes today.
Best Regards,
Mark Bauhaus
