The Goldman School <br />of Public Policy is as designed all -electric and construction cost compared <br />favorably to gas. This also allowed for individually metered apartments so <br />tenants paid their own utility bills. <br />The UCOP did a robust cost analysis of various building types and in almost <br />all cases it found lower life cycle costs with all -electric buildings. It is <br />important to manage TOU rates.
