Repair or Replace Street Infrastructure - Restore streets surrounding the <br />project site to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at project completion. When <br />this requires additional pavement restoration, the Engineer shall approve the <br />preferred layout of pavement markings. [SDR] [ENGINEERING] <br />Fire and Safety <br />30. Available Water Supply to Project Site - Provide current fire flow information <br />from -the water purveyor toin:dicate-the maximum avaiiablewater-itowin gaT11ons <br />per minute (GPM) at a minimum of 20 pounds per square inch (psi) residual <br />pressure. This information must be dated and indicate the information is the most <br />current information available from the water purveyor. [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />31. Required Fire Flow from Municipal Water Supply - On the project information <br />sheet or other sheets as designated in the plans provide the required fire flow for <br />the project based on the square footage of the building and type of construction in <br />accordance with Appendix B of the California Fire Code (CFC). Required fire flor <br />from the fire hydrant is 2000 GPM @ 20 PSI residual pressure. <br />32. Fire Hydrants - The number, location and spacing of required Fire Hydrants are <br />based upon the required fire flow for this project and shall be determined utilizing <br />Appendix B and C of the 2016 CFC. Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems - The building and garage areas are required <br />to be equipped throughout with automatic fire sprinkler systems meeting NFPA <br />Standard 13R. Provide plans and hydraulic calculations for the design of these <br />systems. [SDR][FIRE]. <br />34. Premise Identification - Indicate on the plans where the illuminated premises <br />identification (address) will be located and the size in contrasting background <br />facing the street from which the building takes the address. CFC 505 [SDR] [FIRE]. <br />35. Portable Fire Extinguishers- Portable fire extinguishers, with a minimum <br />classification of 2A:10BC are required to be permanently installed in the common <br />areas within 75 feet of travel from all portions of the buildings in compliance with <br />NFPA 10 and CFC 906. [SDR][FIRE]. <br />36. Carbon Monoxide Alarms - Single or multiple station carbon monoxide alarms <br />are required in all residential occupancies where fuel -burning appliances are <br />installed or that have an attached garage CBC 915.1.
