Section 2. CEQA: Adoption of Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation
Monitoring and Reporting Program:
a. The Commission, based on its independent judgment and analysis, adopts
the MND and the associated MMRP, both of which are on file in the Office of the
City Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and incorporated herein by this reference:
based on the following findings:
The City of Redwood City is the lead agency under CEQA for
preparing the MND, and the Commission is the entity with the final decision-
making authority with regard to approval of the Project.
ii. The MND for the Project was presented to the Commission, the
Commission considered the MND, the MND for the Project was prepared,
published, circulated, reviewed and completed in compliance with State law
and CEQA Guidelines, there was adequate public review of the MND, the
Commission has considered all comments on the MND, and the MND
adequately discusses all significant environmental issues.
iii. The Commission finds that changes or alterations have been
required in, or incorporated into the, the Project, which avoid or reduce to a
less than significant level environmental effects as identified in the MND.
iv. Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15074, the Commission
finds on the basis of the whole record before it (including the initial study
and any comments received), that there is no substantial evidence that the
Project, as mitigated, will have a significant effect on the environment and
that the MND reflects the Commission's independent judgment and
analysis.
ATTY/RESOS/2019/RESO.0080 PC RESO 1180 MAIN CEQA
REV: 07-25-19 PR
