DES: d.4~' 05/23/96 (079/37) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 6/10/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12797 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THE RULES AND <br /> REGULATIONS OF THE REDWOOD CITY WATER DEPARTMENT <br /> (PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT) RELATING TO WATER <br /> RATES; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 12209 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Section 3 of the Rules and Regulations for the Redwood <br />City Water Department (Public Works Services Department), <br />approved December 1947, as amended to date, is hereby further <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 3. (a) Water Service Areas. For the <br /> purpose of this section, the following water service areas <br /> are established, and all premises served by the water system <br /> owned or operated by the City of Redwood City shall be <br /> located in such areas: <br /> <br /> "(1) Area 1: All premises located within the City of <br /> Redwood City and not located within Areas 3, 5, or <br /> 6 shall be located in Area 1. <br /> <br /> "(2) Area 2: All premises located outside the City of <br /> Redwood City and not located within Areas 4, 5, or <br /> 6 shall be included in Area 2. <br /> <br /> "(3) Area 3: All premises located within Redwood City <br /> General Improvement District No. 1-64, a general <br /> improvement district duly organized and existing <br /> under the Redwood City General Improvement <br /> District Ordinance (being Ordinance No. 1128, <br /> adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all <br /> territory annexed to said District shall be <br /> included in Area 3. <br /> <br /> "(4) Area 4: All premises located outside the City of <br /> Redwood City and requiring extra pumping service <br /> to provide water service thereto shall be included <br /> within Area 4. <br /> <br /> <br />
