DES:¢ 04/22/96 (RC-008) <br /> DES:djk 05/31/96 R <br /> 0 R I C I N A L 6/10/96 <br /> R ESOLUT ION NO. 12796 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1974, as amended (Cal. Gov't. C. <br /> Sections 81000, et seq.), requires every state or local govemment agency to <br /> adopt and promulgate a Conflict of Interest Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 87306.5 of said Act requires that said Codes shall be <br /> reviewed and, if appropriate, revised, biennially in even-numbered years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9007, adopted November 23, 1981, this <br /> Council adopted a Conflict of Interest Code for the City of Redwood City, by <br /> adopting by reference 2 Cal. Code of Regs. Section 18730, as said section may, <br /> from time to time be amended, and by also approving as Exhibits thereto, <br /> disclosure categories for certain designated positions within the various <br /> departments of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Exhibits describing the disclosure categories for the <br /> designated positions have been revised to reflect current personnel status; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, as the Code-reviewing body for the City of <br /> Redwood City, has determined that the attached Exhibits "A-L", inclusive, <br /> accurately set forth those positions and corresponding disclosure categories <br /> which should be designated in the Appendix to the Conflict of Interest Code of <br /> the City of Redwood City for each of the departments specified in said Exhibits; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> <br />
